Supergrips Ultimate hand grips
Some paddlers need, or prefer extra grip on their shafts. I have seen some imaginable methods being used. One of the most common is surf wax. Wax does provide extra grip, but it is really horrible stuff to use, and best left to be used on surf boards.
We have found the ultimate hand grips that can be applied to all our shafts. These 'Supergrips' provide you with two great advantages. First, unbeatable grip, and second, warmer hands in cold weather. Anyone who uses them will tell you exactly that.
These grips, (also known as crossgrips), are a textured rubber, with a diamond pattern, and are used on Cricket Bats, Golf Clubs, Fishing Rods, and Tennis Rackets. When first used you'll feel like you have Spiderman's hands, they can actually give too much grip on the first few outings. However, once the newness has worn off, and they become more natural and feel great.
They are not particularly good to use for long distance paddling in saltwater, therefore best not used for Sea Kayaking, unless they have been well worn in.
